Change management

Change Management

In this lecture we will look at change processes from a biological perspective, because in nature change is nothing but a survival strategy. During this presentation Patrick van Veen will also discuss the experiences with change and fusion processes in zoos. Do these processes generate as much resistance there as on the work floor?

Culture

When we talk about culture in organisations, it is often about why changes do or do not succeed or how we can make intercultural cooperation work. In order to find out these answers, it is first of all important to understand culture and to be able to perceive our behaviour objectively.

What, for example, is the influence of culture on the work environment, how do we organise our own organisation? And how can culture support us in effective collaboration and in bringing about positive behavioural changes?
"Like apes, humans are social beings: we constantly influence
each other, consciously and unconsciously.
The benefit of change is to make the unconscious conscious."
